I am Edew Dela Cruz and I am 29 years old. I was raised in a devout Catholic family, and blinded by the truth. Missionary Elmer Balcon shared to me the way of salvation, but instead of accepting Christ, at that time, I refused His gift of salvation. Later, the pastor invited me to come to the church near our village. That Sunday morning, when the pastor preached about the life of Nicodemus, I understood that I needed Jesus in my life. I realized that I was lost. On July 21,2001, I came to know the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Savior.

In 2006, I began studying in a fundamental Baptist college for Asians in Tarlac, Philippines. In 2009, I graduated and worked as a youth leader in our independent Baptist church until 2011.

On December 2, 2011,I married Michelle Landingin.

In 2012, my wife and I started a mission work in our village. My pastor had commissioned me to build a church.

In April 2013, God blessed us with our first child, Keziah Andrei.

In 2014, I was given the privilege to come here in your country to study and to train in the ministry in Marietta Bible College. Marietta Bible College is the school where they train young men and women for the ministry. After my studies are completed at Marietta Bible College, I will return to our own country to start a ministry and build a church. In 2016, I will return to the Philippines.

I have left my family for 2 years to study for God’s ministry in the Philippines.

I am raising funds to further the work of the Gospel in Bayambang Pangasinan.

Bayambang is the first class municipality with 111,521 thousand souls. It is divided into 77 villages with a land size of 55.58 square miles. Eighty-eight percent of our people are Roman Catholic. They make graven images and worship them. They even crucify themselves believing that they will be forgiven from their sins. They have been blinded from the truth. Our mission and vision is to teach the adults, youth, children and inmates with the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

While I am here in your country, I am seeking for prayer partners and raising funds for a monthly base of $1500 dollars to start the mission work.

By our own means we can do a little but if there are churches that will partner with us in this advocacy in winning our own people, I believe we can do much.

We must go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature.
