The Plan of Salvation
Have you ever been saved and become born-again?
Are you a Christian?
I would like to share the plan of salvation with you because I love you.
Here is how to be saved and know it.
First , a man must come to the truth of knowing that he is a sinner. The Bible says “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).
The Bible tells us that because we are sinners, that we are condemned to death. “For the wages (payment) of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). This includes eternal separation from God in hell. The Bible says that “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27).
So the bad news is that all have sinned, all are condemned, and all must die and be judged after their death.
BUT the GOOD news is this: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). God so loved the world that He (God) gave His only begotten Son, Jesus, to bear our sin and die in our place on the cross. “For he (God) hath made him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him” ( 2Corinthians 5:21).
God demands a blood payment for sin, so Christ had to shed His blood and die for us. The Bible says “For the life of the flesh is in the blood” ( Leviticus 17:11). And “without shedding of blood is no remission”(forgiveness) (Hebrews 9:22).
“But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). It may be hard for us to understand how this took place, but God said that my sins and your sins were laid upon Jesus and He died in our place. He became our substitute in judgment. This must be true, for God cannot lie.
One might ask the question then, “If Christ died for me and paid my sin debt, then how can I claim His payment as mine???”
Here is how: The Bible says that God “commandeth all men every where to repent” (Acts 17:30). This repentance is a change of heart and mind that agrees with God that one is a sinner, and acknowledges his sin to God and no longer hides that sin, but is willing to confess it and forsake it. “I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin” (Psalm 32:5). “He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy” (Proverbs 28:13). And “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9-10).
Any man who will acknowledge his sin, and repent of it , and confess his faith in the Death, Burial, and Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, can be saved. “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved” (Acts 16:31). If you believe that Jesus died for you, was buried in your place, and rose again for you, then you can have everlasting life by calling upon Him for salvation!!!
“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name” (John 1:12).
WILL YOU BE SAVED???? As many as receive Him, will be, and can be, saved.
Have you ever saw your need for salvation, acknowledged your sin, confessed it and forsaken that sin?
Have your ever asked the Savior to save you?
It is as simple as that.
It is as simple as praying like the man who was so burdened by sin that he wouldn’t even lift up his head or his eyes to heaven, but put his hand over his heart and prayed, “God be merciful to me a sinner” (Luke 18:13). And Jesus said that man went home to his house justified.
Why? Because he truly meant it .
My desire is that you will be saved if you are not .
This is God’s plan of salvation. It’s easy to understand.
If you are not saved and ready to meet the Lord, I pray that you will be soon.
If you ever need me, I’ll be there.
I love you!!!
